Getting done

Well I faxed off the form this morning to the cemetery. I called them to make sure they got it. We are putting mom’s ashes, with dad.

Well, this really got to me. Plus, when I went to my support group last nite, I was told to be prepared for a possible meltdown after all this is done. Said I haven’t had a second to even proces all this.

I think they are right, but I do not want a meltdown. So I am really depending on my support and God.

Did not do a workout this morning, those meetings drain me.

I will do some tonite.

This is the final stage, I will be glad when it is over, I think.

Love you guys.

We are all here for you and don’t be surprised to break down a little. I know it’s the last thing you want to hear but when it’s all complete then you don’t have anything keeping you busy and keeping your mind completely off things. But like my dance teacher once told me “Sometimes it’s best to just take a bath, turn on some music, and let yourself bawl!” You get all your feelings out there and for some reason crying releases some happy chemical that makes you feel so much better! Keep your head up and I’ll keep you in my prayers!

This is my second response to this and hopefully this one doesn’t get lost in la-la-land!

Don’t be surprised if you do finally break down a bit. When you have everything completed then you don’t have anything to keep you busy and keep your mind off everything. But like my dance teacher once told me…”Sometimes it’s just best to take a bath, turn on some music, and just bawl!” I agree with it. Sometimes when things seem impossible just have a good crying session. For some reason your body releases some chemical that ends up making you feel better. We are all here for you hun and you are in my prayers!

Kama, they may be right. Surround yourself with a lot of loving people. It happened to me after my son died. After all the hustle and bustle of running around taking care of things it hit me. And, it hit me hard. I kind of got lost a bit. It was a very difficult time but once I understood that there were going to be sad days and I needed to be patient with myself and allow myself to grieve, I got better slowly. I read a lot of poetry by a popular grief poet but I can’t remember her name. I think it was Helen Kubler Ross. I can’t believe I don’t remember that because it was those poems that got me thru those days.

Thinking of you often Kama! Remember, one day at a time and keep your faith sweetie. Grieve in your way, in your time.
