bags of clothes, and yoga is NOT easy!!

Hi you all! Well I have had an interesting weekend!

Lynne and I did go out on Friday nite, we had mexican, and then went shopping. I found a gorgeous Dolphin picture for my bathroom, too. Then we went  and coffee with some ladies from the cat shows.

Lol, I have to tell you this, I found this Hello Kitty pillow/wall hanging at the thrift store we were at , it it supposed to go over a baby’s crib, but I wanted it for the Wildcats, so I bought it and keep it on my pillow, helps me get up in the morning to work out, I see that, and think of my team and up I go!

So, I cleaned out my closet and drawers yesterday. Got rid of 6 huge bags of clothes, and I still have plenty. People have been giving me all kinds of stuff, and a friend gave me some size 6 jeans which I can almost get into, I am gonna work for it!

So I did the whole Biggest loser Yoga dvd, don’t let anyone tell you yoga is easy, I am VERY sore today! But it is a good one, and I am gonna do that everyday till I can go back to the cardio, then alternate. I love it, and Ali looks awesome!

Well, slowly getting better, kind of overdid it yesterday. And I got this horrible craving for peanut butter last nite, and I gave in. I couldn’t get it out of my mind! Anyone had that happen? What did you do?

So, well Ted is still sick, but some better, and I am better but still coughing. This bug is nasty.

Please pray we find a pastor that can do mom’s memorial, The pastor’s son may do it, and I should know by tomorrow.

Ok, you all have a great Sunday, hugs!

Hey Kama, sounds like you really had a fun time. Good for you, you deserve some fun !!!

I think Hello Kitty is so cute :)
Praying for Ted to get better, you too…and for you to find the right pastor for the memorial service.

No, yoga is not easy. It is a full body resistance workout using your own body as resistance. Sometimes I sweat more in my yoga/tai chi classes than doing Zumba or Hip Hop Abs. And as for the peanut butter craving, “yuk!” Hate the stuff. My sis on the other eats the organic kind, which is much healthier, so maybe you could try that.

How is that dvd for an uncoordinated person like me? :)
I crave PB on a DAILY basis…I usually fit about a T. in at some point with my fruit or something, MUST have it!!
Will keep the pastor issue in my prayers for you Kama…and Ted.
Love ya bunches…you are so amazing!!

I have the peanut butter issue, too! When I tried to deprive myself, I gave in and ate who knows how much right out of the jar with a spoon! Can you say binge? So now I eat 1 tablespoon with a sliced apple daily. It is delish and keeps me out of the jar!

I think I overdid it on the peanut butter one day and now can’t eat much of it or I feel sick. Someone on here was talking about peanut butter powder…maybe you could look into that?

Your closet sounds like mine! Last month I sorted out all of my 24s and bigger and sent them downstairs. Now I can fit into 18s! haha it seems to never end. I feel as though I feed my closet more than myself!
I never tried yoga, I have a Denise Austin dvd but haven’t tried it yet. I have done my Pilates dvds and enjoy them! And they are hard too, but it is fun to have that challenge and see what I can do. It reminds me of how far I have come.

How cool you found the Hello Kitty thing! I need a one too!! :)

Sounds like you have been having a good weekend…glad to hear that. I haven’t tried the yoga, but believe you on it being hard. Way to go for trying it. On the peanut butter deal…hmmmm, don’t ever really crave that. Sometimes though I just have a spoonful! It’s basically healthy..so don’t worry!!

Best of luck with the preacher…:)

    Take care Kama!

If it was easy, everyone would be doing it! ;-) I’m glad you have found something you can do while you are recovering! Have just enough to get the craving taken care of…probably just a spoonful is enough to get it taken care of! Love you, Kama!

glad to hear you liked that yoga! i did some post-natal yoga today and was thinking of you :) hope the pastor comes through. i do a spoonful of pnut butter if i really want it. it’s tough though - just today i thought - i can go thru a jar in a week easily - that’s too much!!! congrats on those clothes!!

I have read before about how our bodies will often have uncontrolable cravings for things that our bodies are lacking. I think it likely that if you’re craving peanut butter, that your body was needing protein and I say when that happens, help yourself to a spoonful of peanut butter. :)

I hope things work out with the pastor!

I thought you’d gotten the pastor figured out! Oh goodness! Glad you liked the yoga, I have a hard time with yoga myself! Hope Ted gets to feeling better soon, I know it’s just a matter of time for you!

I used to hate P.B. until I started my diet now I love the stuff and hate eating it until another buddy told me about Peter Pan brand Whipped it has way less calories and less fat than the Reduced fat actually has and I like it a lot better. I eat one Tablespoon with a piece of fruit MMmmm… now I want some :o) oh it is 140 calories and 100 from fat not too shabby…
