What a week!!
Sorry to not be here as much, buddies.
I have been real busy making calls for mom and work has been nuts, too. I will try and get to some blogs this afternoon/
Mom is soso, still battling her blood sugar, and she didn’t want the home health nurses to come out, but I got her convinced to do that.
Sometimes all this feels like more than I can handle, so still need lots of prayers.
Going to go see dad tomorrow nite, too.
As for me? Doing ok, just got the Biggest Loser Cardio max dvd, will try it tonite.
Also reading a good book by Roger Gould about emotional eating, just got it, will let you know how it is. Well need to run and post, love you all!
You have your hands full right now and we all understand that you can’t be on here as much as you would like. Your parents are lucky to have you around and taking such good care of them. Have a great day and don’t forget to make some time for yourself.
Work has been nuts here too. That’s why I ran away to BuddySlim land. I need my sanity back. LOL
Hang in there with your Mom. I know it’s stressful, but she deserves all you can give her at this time in her life. She gave you all she could give you growing up. Returning the favor? I know you can do it. You’re a strong person who doesn’t know the word “quit”.
Hugggggggggggggggggs,
Shan
Girl, you take care of your family; that’s right.
I hope your mom feels better soon. Hang in there buddy!

Praying things will soon settle for you
As an emotional eater Id love to hear how that book is…please share when you get into it. Big hugs to you Kama! Love ya!!
I have the Cardio max but really wish I had the power sculpt one…but we are a small town and I haven’t found it yet. When I saw the Cardio on I grabbed it.
Take care of yourself.
I am grateful that we connected, as I can understand how life can get into the way take your time. Thinking of you and your mom.
heya Kama…. I hope to goodness you’re taking some time out for yourself. I know, I know, I keep saying this to you. But you’re the type of person to put everyone before yourself, and I dont want you to burn out. Glad you convinced you Mom to let the nurse come. Maybe you can interview a volunteer to spend some time with her during the day so she doenst feel secluded and lonely. We have that over here in Ireland. Some social wokring and psychology students do it for credit for their courses. I used to do it the in the local hospice over here. It just might take a little bit of pressure off yourself.
Let me know how that book goes. It may be one for my shelf!
*prayer for you*
Take care Kama.
Look forward to hearing about the book.
