Hello!!

Ok, gonna try and be more upbeat today, lol.

Thanks for all the support and nice comments yesterday.

Well, my back is some better, most of the pain is now in my upper back. I did not workout, since I was so sore, I will tomorrow, though. I get to feeling like a slug when I don’t workoutslug *gasp*

Plus, TOM is attacking big time. Oh well, such is life.

VERY proud of mom, she went to her diabetes dr appt on her own yesterday! He took her off the Glyburide, since she is on insulin, and gave her diet and exercise advice, and she had to go back in 6 weeks, so it seems that is going better. Will get with her some time this weekend to fill out forms.

I’m doing ok, kinda having a problem with wanting to eat everything in sight, but I haven’t.

Well, time to go post, hope you all are having a great day! Hugs!

Glad you’re doing better today. You can avoid eating “everything in sight.” I know you can!

put the food out of site, then you can’t eat it! I found that helped with me, we had chips from our picnic and I was craving them until someone put them in the cupboard. And put healthy snacks in sight, like fruit on the counter to grab instead
Or don’t buy anything you will crave this week, I craved strawberry pop tarts earlier (I’ve no idea why!) but we don’t have any in the house…so I think I’m safe:D

I can totally relate to wanting to eat everything in sight. You really have a strong sense of yourself, though, Kama and you will work through this!

When I was off most exercise due to the knee thing I was so bummed out and felt like a slug too. Great pic btw! You take care and please be careful, of course you know this. Have a great day knowing that you can take care of yourself and others will be okay on their own for a little while. It feels weird to let go, doesn’t it? We are conditioned to feel this caregiver role ALL THE TIME. But we must take care of our well being too. No guilt, ok? *HUGS*

Looking at your new profile pic. I simply CANNOT get over the transformation Kama. You look SO HEALTHY now. And HAPPY! I keep going back and looking at your “before” pic. I still can’t believe that was you. You looked tired and looked like you may have had trouble breathing even, and I think to myself, naaaaah that’s not her. And NOW look at you! Color to your face, a healthy GLOWWWWWW, peace shows in your eyes. Lots trimmer from all your hard work. It’s paid off!

And you inspire me to no end…

You, my dear, are what grit, commitment, and change for the better is all about… on the outside… but more importantly, on the inside too…

    Hugggggggggggggggggggs,
    Shan
