Busy, busy!
Happy Tuesday!! Had my date with Billy bright and early this morning! I didn’t want to get out of bed this morning, but I did it! Would have been too easy to stay in bed, but I reminded myself of how I hate to work out in the evenings and that got me moving. And guess what? I do feel better now that I did it, and very proud of myself.
Ok, I need you all’s opinion on something; I’m not at 148 pounds, 13 away from my goal of 135. Some people I know say I should not lose anymore, but I want to get to goal. But I was also thinking of changing my focus a bit. I’m now going to focus more on my exercise and weight lifting, and more on being healthy than focusing on the scale alone. I’m not going to start slipping on my eating, but my main focus is optimum health, and not just weight loss.
With that being said, I have to get to work. Will be back to read blogs at lunch, love ya!
You know, I think that it’s a great time to focus on toning, and learning to transition out of diet mode. Take it slow. You are so inspiring. I have a ton of faith that you will do fine. Don’t forget that I am here for ya chick. Great job!

focusing on exercise and optimal health with good eating sounds like a smart plan! you know how to eat so keep it up! Try varying your workout, too, with more cardio to kick you up a notch!

You know what is best for YOU! I lost too much on my first great loss, 26 years ago. I was 45 and I was too thin. I couldn’t see it, but others could. Then I saw some pics and I agreed. So do what you feel. I am 5 pounds from my new goal, but am a lot more interested in my health (and no new wrinkles) then I am in losing more. Love, Marge
You are doing so well Kama. Guess I agree with the others comments. Maybe toning is a good thing now? Healthy eating is certainly the most important thing for me. You’ve stayed so focused and you look so healthy. I’m so proud of you!!
Well, I think you look amazing, if you are going to focuss on weights and toning you will probably be losing body fat (there are machines out there to measure it) your weight may stick where it is but your body will look more toned and you may change shape. Whatever you end up doing, know that what you have achieved so far is astounding. Well done you. Hugs
