Sorry it was so short…

Kind of been in a rush all day! Had to do the forums, and then we are leaving early today at work, so Had to get alot done. Well, any cool plans for new years? I am gonna go to a meeting tonite, then go home and just stay home with my honey. We don’t drink, so I got us some sparkling apple cider with pomegranite juice! Looks real pretty! I also got us some chex mix(lower fat than chips) and got him a pizza, and me a lean cuisine pizza! So we are set! Gonna make home made split pea soup tomorrow with the rest of our ham, we love that! Maybe some cornbread, too.

So that is our plans, will see dad tonite with mom, thinking of inviting her over for some soup tomorrow.

Also, gonna do my workout tomorrow, so let’s start the year right!

new yearI wish you all a Happy, Blessed and Healthy New Year! I am off to a good start! Did my taebo boot camp this morning, and some floor work. I plan to do a long workout tomorrow! I don’t have time to be on long this morning, so I will have to come back and read blogs at lunch, so if I don’t get to yours right away, I will! I’m doing good and my sore throat is much better! Wildcats need new members!

Still have room for 4!

Weight loss challenge team needs more members. The Wild Cats are looking for new members!! We are competing against the Hot Rods. We weigh in every Sunday with a 10 am cutoff time in your own time zone. We then declare a winning team (whichever loses the most weight) and start all over again!

We have an awesome group of people on our team who are always ready to offer encouragement and motivation. We have a lot of fun but are also very serious about our goals and have a separate forum just for serious talk. Our team also offers optional exercise challenges. You do not have to do them but we have a lot of fun with them. If you complete one or more of the challenges, you can email me and I brag about you. But, it is not required.

You can find us by looking at the Buddy Slim menu bar and clicking Forum and then click Weight Loss Challenges and then click Wild Cat Serious Talk or Cheer section.

We’re looking for people who are serious about weight loss. You need to be willing to workout at least 5 days per week (trying for 6) and eating healthy on a regular basis. If you’re interested, email me your current weight and we’ll introduce you to the team.

My Plan Of Action

Thanks for the suggestion Jo! Well, here is my plan of action for my resolutions: Well, as for getting the flab and last of the weight off, I will keep doing what I am doing diet and exercise wise. Goal is to stay under 1400 cals a day, closer to 1300 if I can. Also I want to incorporate more cardio into my exercise routine, as time permits.

As far as the games go, I commit to playing them at least 2 nites a week for starters. And then 2 nites a week for my beads. Have to start some where, and I figure I can get in a couple of hours each time on those.  I appreciate the plan of action idea, Jo, helps me set in my mind better, rather than just being a vague idea! Thanks!

Ok, as for my progress, well I’m up one pound from last week. But I don’t feel too bad, because that means I got thru the holidays with out gaining! I don’t drink so New Year’s should be ok, Planning to make split pea soup with the leftover ham. I also think the two days I had to take off of my cardio hurt me some ,too. But I had to, was running a fever.

But on to 2008! I feel so excited about this year! Val and I are leading the Wildcat team, and I’m really happy about that, too! Got our first threads posted this morning, feel awesome about that, too! Well gotta run, you all have an awesome day! Love ya, Kama

Good morning!

Happy Saturday! Well, thanks for all the get well wishes! I just wish this thing would either develop or go away. Still have a sore throat and cough, and fell generally tired and yucky. Have had to cut back on my workouts, gonna do my Leslie Sansone today. If I do too much jumping around I start to hack and cough. Ugh!

Been trying to stay op, did real good yesterday until dinner, which was leftover ham. I KNOW I had too much. Well, today is another day, weigh in is tomorrow, so I have to be good. Not gonna beat myself up if I gained, though.

Well, I have been thinking about my New Year’s Resolutions. Here’s is what I have so far:

1. To get my flab tight and toned

2. to lose the last of my excess wieght.

3. to be a good coleader of the Wildcat team

4. to learn to play competetivly on our PS2 games, so I can play with Ted, lol

5. get active with my bead making.

Well, still battling this dumb cold, but it hasn’t settled in my sinuses too much yet, but I feel abit feverish and achey, so I didn’t do my workout this morning, been walking at lunch and doing calisthenics. Will try my taebo tomorrow, I miss it.

Well, we had our ham dinner last nite, was not really op, but I had eaten lite all day, to help with it. Ted made it, and it was awesome, have alot leftover, will share with mom. Will be good on salads and stuff, too.

Well, mom is working again on the state aid stuff, but now they are helping her, thank God. She says she feels better and is thinking more clearly, now. Thanks for all your prayers!

Well, I need to go and get some work done. I will read blogs as I can thru the day. Love you all! Kama

I’m doing the Happy Dance!

Happy DanceJust got my review at work and was the best I have had in years! Wheeeeeeeeeeee!!!! The said I am a “solid contributor” And that my performance has drastically improved in the last year! I Know you all and my health have had everything to do with that! Yay!!

Happy ThursdayThis is the way I feel about my buddies!!! I’m back!!! Well, to be honest, I’m not feeling too good today, woke up kind of achey, feverish and a sore throat, so stayed in bed and didn’t work out. Will do some light exercises later. Hope you all are having a great day!

Ted and I are trying to stay healthy right now, and not doing too well at it.

I will be back at my workouts tomorrow though, I promise!

Well, Val and I start leading the Wildcats next week, so wish us luck! I’m a bit nervous, never been a leader before, but this is something I really, really want, and want to do well at it too.
