Thanks

To all of you who responded to my “Cheat” blog, I really appreciate the feed back. Guess I have been scared to cheat, didn’t want to lose my momentum. But I think once a week would relieve some of the tension. I’m gonna try it, but not till after I wiegh in for Sunday, ok, Hotties!

to cheat or not to cheat!

I have a question. Everyone keeps telling me I should have a once a week “Cheat” meal where I can have whatever I want. So far, I have not done this, and I’m kind of afraid to. Can I get some feed back?? Thanks

Rate your plate!!!

Trying not to overeat? Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of
the day, but don’t forget about good ol’ nutritious lunch. “A stable, healthy lunch
will keep you full longer and decrease your urge to snack,” says registered
dietitian Erin Bartels. She recommends checking out the Rate Your Plate page on the
American Diabetes Association’s Website. “Even if you are not a diabetic, it is a
healthy way to watch portion sizes and to eat in moderation.” The site recommends
dividing your plate into fourths: One fourth should be devoted to carbohydrates,
another fourth should be protein, and the other half of the plate should be
non-starchy vegetables.

Have to share

I was talking to my friend this morning(who I ride into work with)And he takes his breaks wioth some of our coworkers. And he told me that me and my weight loss has been the topic of the last few breaks! He says they are all jealous, lol!!! Made me feel kinda good!

TGIF!!!

Ok buddies, it is Friday!!!Let’s have fun this weekend, and find some creative ways to make it fun while staying op! Maybe try some new fruits and veggies you haven’t had before? Or try some new healthrecipes? That’s what I’m gonna do, take time to try some thing new. And have fun with it!!!

Well I’m looking forward to weighing in this weekend, My jeans are alot looser, and I feel ike I have lost again, Yay!! I know I have been working hard, and have exercised everyday. Well Buddies have a great day!

P.S. I found out last nite to watch oout for the calories in things like corn dogs, I looked it up online, it said 460 calories for one!

something so tasty could be so healthy?

Hope you are all well. I’m doing good, was really tired last nite, but managed to do my workout anyways, that is where the commitment comes in, I think. I’m so hoping for another loss this week, I have stayed op and did my exercise all week!LOL, well I’m at work, have to start another busy day! Talk at y’all later!

Halfway thru another week! I hope you all are staying on program, and are making yourselves a priority in exercise time, and making healthy choices. I know if you are like me, we tend to get distracted by all the things we think we “have” to do. But if we don’t take care of ourselves, and make getting and staying healthy a top priority, then we can’t be there for our families and all the rest of life that is so dependent on us. Well, I will get off my sopabox, I just flet I had to share that. I’m having an awesome day, and I hope you all do the same! Now go get ‘em!!!

Well, I’m wearing another pair of bagg pants today( I just bought these in December, lol), at this rate I will definitly be shopping for new clothes, Yay I love shopping.

It is raining here, has been since yesterday. At least I can’t complain about snow, thank God. I really feel for you all in the snow country, I used to live in Illinois, and know how it can get.

I want to ask some of you, my bf says he thinks I’m working too hard on this. I do my workout videos (Billy Blanks) at least 3 times a week, and then on the alternate days go for a half hour walk. Sometimes I take a break and don’t do anything on Sundays. He also thinks I don’t eat enough, I try to keep my calories per day between 1200 and 1600. He says it has to be around 2200 for health reasons! I don’t think so, would appreciate feedback on this, thanks

Good morning, all!!!

Today is Monday, and I’m so pumped!!! The Red Hotties did awesome!! I also want to congratulate the Blue team for their loss, too, that is alot of hard work! Well, back at work, wearing an outfit that fits for the first time in a long time This feels so great! Has anyone tried the Jenny-O hot italian turkey sausage? It is great, we had it last nite in spaghetti. My bf loved it so much he had seconds!!! Only 160 cals for one link, and low in fat, too.
